煙囪

　　　　目前廠區內現存南北二煙囪，為霍夫曼窯燒製紅磚時所興建之排煙設

　　施，南煙囪為蒸籠窯（已拆除）使用，北煙囪則為2、3、6號八卦窯共同使

　　用，其中2、6號窯已拆除。為台灣人製造由德國人監工，製作過程相當嚴

　　謹，進度也相當慢。北煙囪依外觀區分為基座、煙管及頂部，基座二側短向

　　邊設置清煙道出入口，設置地下煙道由西向拱形開口連接至3號霍夫曼窯，

　　基座上方設置八角型煙管，尾端再以球形收頭。南煙囪依外觀區分為煙囪底

　　部、煙管及頂部，以賣相差的黑頭磚砌造而成，並以箍束鐵補強，底部設置

　　南北向地底煙道連接窯體，其構法與砌法深具歷史價值。

　　　　中都唐榮磚窯廠目前古蹟本體的造型、材料、構造均具時代性特質。煙

　　囪煙道系統遭到更佚及霍夫曼窯改建等部份可說明廠區生產改革的時證。

　　倒焰窯、實驗窯及隧道窯等近代工業窯體可成為台灣燒窯工業的形貌資訊，

　　極具工業保存的歷史價值。
