中都唐榮磚窯廠Chung-Du brick kiln

　　　　中都唐榮磚窯廠位於沿愛河之同盟路三段及中華橫路所包圍之區域，其　前身為１８９８年日本人鮫島盛在三塊厝郊區創辦傳統目仔寮的鮫島煉瓦工廠，為高雄最早的磚窯廠，１９１３年改為「台灣煉瓦株式會社打狗工廠」，其建物為不同時期的建築，主要的八卦窯及兩根高聳的煙囪，則建於

民國３４年，太平洋戰爭日本投降之後，此工廠先後改稱台灣窯業公

　　　司，工礦公司高雄磚場。民國４６年，轉售唐榮鐵工廠。民國５１年唐榮

１９０８年，三塊厝驛正式營運。同年，打狗港也開始現代化築港工程，港市發展同步邁進，造成人口急速增加，城市新興建築蓬勃發展。

　　　生產，乃設鮫島煉瓦工廠（按日語：煉瓦指磚），為傳統的目仔之窯磚場。　　　

中都唐榮磚窯場位於愛河中游之中都地區，乃因民國６０年之中都戲院而得名。此區位於愛河下游之流三塊厝之交流河口北邊位置。清朝時為三塊厝荒郊，三塊厝在明鄭時期即有王、鄭、蔡三姓墾殖於今之自立路、三鳳宮及三鳳中街一帶。因地勢低漥、土質較黏，種植不易，且北邊水塘水路密佈，隔愛河與內惟埤相連，直至日治初期仍是人煙稀少、草莽一片。

高雄市三民區地重劃後,基地右側為特商區,6號公園地北側為32號公園內含里民中心及下水道維管中心，為中都社區公園,沿同盟路與愛河河岸往北為連續內惟俾與中都溼地生態系統之綠帶

     高雄市長久以來就是一個工業發展蓬勃的城市,廠房與煙囪亦成為高雄人對都市景觀的意像,中都唐榮磚窯場即是最具代表的工業遺址,民國92年4月16日高雄市政府公告台灣煉瓦會社打狗工廠(即俗稱中都唐榮磚窯場)內的[八卦窯一座]、[煙囪兩座]、[隧道窯(含鐵道)一座]、[倒焰窯三座]、[實驗窯一座]、[紅磚事務所]指定為古蹟,93年2月25日公告[東北角倒焰窯一座]登錄為歷史建築
